Working in various industry sectors being exposed to different cultures and working practices across several continents. Changing mind-sets along with ways of working by driving problem solving and root cause analysis within the LSS methodologies. Over twenty years’ experience, as a change agent, integrating Lean thinking into Business Processes. As a 6-Sigma Master Black Belt he has delivered and supported numerous improvement projects and have provided extensive Six Sigma training programmes.
Prior to working as an independent Improvement consultant he was employed for 35 years in Manufacturing with the Ford Motor Company in both Leadership and Technical positions, in diverse roles covering Lean, Six-Sigma, Quality, Engineering, and Production. For the majority of that period he was located at the Southampton Assembly Plant, employed on the Transit programme, a vehicle that has become an icon for delivering class leading quality, and durability.

Catherine Thorogood
Catherine has worked extensively in design and manufacture within the automotive sector and most recently the development of the London Electric Taxi. In addition, she has supported small-medium scale businesses with a range of products from components to industrial mixing machines. The common factors have been delivering change and driving continuous improvement though Lean Six Sigma application.
Catherine is excited to bring this experience to empowering others to confidently and practically apply these techniques to their own business and practices.
